Maple Grove Senior High student Evelina Knodel was the grand prize award recipient at the 3rd District Congressional Student Art Competition for her watercolor painting “Redefining Failure.”

During the 2011-2012 school year, it was announced that Maple Grove Senior High student Evelina Knodel was the grand prize award recipient at the 3rd District Congressional Student Art Competition for her watercolor painting “Redefining Failure.”
She received a $200 prize and two airfare tickets to Washington, D.C. where her work will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year.
