Bethel University junior Zachary Haskins of Maple Grove walked away from the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships with an All-American title. He was one of six Bethel competitors sent to the event, held at Burns Stadium on the campus of Claremont McKenna-Harvey Mudd-Scripps Colleges in Claremont, Calif.

Haskins excelled in the 1500-meter run, clocking a time of 3:57.11 to round out the group of All-Americans in the event.

Haskins also advanced to the Division III National Track and Field Championships for the second straight year.

Bethel University is based in St. Paul.
